Despite the recent loss of a proposal to bring almost $8 billion in transportation investments for a multi-modal transportation system on the November 2012 ballot, Alameda County Transportation Commission continues its commitment to improve transportation in Alameda County. The Commission provides the highest level of service and the best value for public funds in its continuance to plan, fund and deliver transportation systems that expand access and improve mobility in Alameda County. Tess Lengyl, Deputy Director of the Alameda County Transportation Commission will present this topic on moving forward after the election.
